The Brief
The homeowners wanted to invest in a complete renewable energy solution incorporating solar panels, battery storage, and an EV charger to help reduce their overall energy costs and improve energy efficiency.
Aesthetics were extremely important to the project. As the front of the property was south-facing, we advised that this elevation would provide the best solar performance and long-term value. However, the clients wanted the installation to blend seamlessly with the design of their newly renovated home and retain its premium appearance.
Our Solution
Following a detailed site survey, we designed and installed a fully bespoke renewable energy system tailored to the client’s property, lifestyle, and budget. The installation included integrated solar panels, battery storage with backup power capability, and an EV charger, while also allowing the clients to benefit from 0% VAT.
To preserve the aesthetics of the property, we specified integrated solar panels that sat flush within the existing Spanish slate roof tiles, creating a sleek and discreet finish that complemented the architecture of the home rather than sitting proud of the roof surface.
We also installed a slimline solar battery within the utility room and designed a dedicated storage space adjacent to the room to neatly house the inverter and associated equipment, ensuring the entire system remained both practical and visually unobtrusive.
